Basic Soul Unit turns up the Summer Heat

- The Toronto producer keeps it local for a daytime Breakandenter bash at 99 Sudbury.
- Breakandenter will host Basic Soul Unit and Thugfucker for Summer Heat, a 12-hour party in Toronto next Saturday. Basic Soul Unit (real name Stuart Li) has been producing deep, vintage shades of house music since the early '00s, with appearances on labels like Mule Electronic, Ostgut Ton and Toronto's New Kanada imprint. He'll be joined by New York disco/house duo Thugfucker for the second annual Summer Heat thrown by Breakandenter, who earlier this year celebrated their 20th party in Toronto. Like last year, the setting is 99 Sudbury, with the party starting outside on the patio before moving inside after sundown. Breakandenter's Martin Fazekas leads the local support with help from the Evening Standard duo MEMBERSONLY.
