  • Sydney-based independent radio station FBi will host another of their Changing Lanes fundraisers in October, with this year's lineup set to feature PVT. In operation since 2003, FBi has become one of Sydney's main proponents of independent and locally produced music, and features a number of prominent local DJs and musicians as program hosts. It's also been instrumental in the success of numerous Sydney-based bands, including the upcoming Changing Lanes' headliners, PVT. Aside from the experimental duo, electronic music doesn't factor heavily on the festival's bill, which features a slew of local indie bands performing across several stages. However, Beni Single—who recently announced the release of his debut album—will be flying the house flag, while the Midnight Juggernauts will be in DJ mode. This time around, Changing Lanes will be held at the lower end of Devonshire St in Surry Hills, as well as in the adjacent laneways. It's all set to kick off at midday on September 12th, and go through to 10 PM that night.
