- 20 years after their initial release, the seminal label's first two full-lengths will be re-released on November 7th.
To celebrate the 20th anniversary of their first ever artist albums, Warp Records will reissue early full-lengths by LFO and Sweet Exorcist in November.
The albums in question are LFO's Frequencies and Sweet Exorcist's CCCD. Some may argue that the latter was just an EP, but as Warp's official site notes, the CD version was released with catalog number WARPCD1, "marking Warp Records' first artist album." In any case, here it's been expanded into RetroActivity, a two-disc compilation comprising the UK duo's entire discography (CC EP, Testone, Popcone and Clonk), plus five alternative mixes and early demos. Frequencies, on the other hand, will appear much in the same way it did 20 years ago, but this time on loud cut vinyl and with the tracks "Groovy Distortion" and "Track 14" included.
