  • Parisian afterparty Twsted has launched a news series called Concrete, with three events lined up between now and the end of the year. According to Brice Springsteen, one of the party's organizers, Twsted was supposed to take place at a new location every time, but it kept coming back to the same boat venue due to a series of unforeseen hang-ups (one warehouse spot allegedly fell through when archaeologists discovered a 15th century corpse buried underneath, but that's another story). Luckily, the boat docked at 69 port de la Rapée served their purposes well—so well, in fact, that they decided to make it the official home of a new afterhours party, Concrete. Just like Twsted, each Concrete party will start at 7:00 AM on Sunday and run until just before midnight. The first takes place on Halloween weekend with Giles Smith and James Priestley of Secretsundaze, plus Berlin underground favorite Matthew Styles and UK producer Wbeeza. The second installment will be an extra-deep affair, with Levon Vincent, DJ Qu and Efdemin, plus Club der Visionaere resident Binh. [a:rpia:r] staple Petre Inspirescu headlines the December edition, joined by Priku, El Cezere and Alexandra. Twsted resident Grego G will play all three events.
