Esperanza will release their self-titled debut album in December.
The fledgling Italian trio are the latest signees to Gomma, a Munich-based imprint that specializes in electronic and indie crossover. Until now they've put their name to just one single, though group member Cecile popped onto the radar earlier this year with an official remix of Vampire Weekend's "White Sky." The upcoming LP reveals Esperanza to be in equal parts rock and electronic, pairing pads and kick drums with sensitive vocals and reverb-laden guitars. Fellow Italian indie artist Banjo or Freakout makes a guest appearance on "Sirena," the album's first single, which is currently available with remixes by Luke Abbott, Broke On and Kompakt duo Walls.
