  • Vitalic and Chris Liebing will join hosts Slam at the next Pressure party on Friday 15th November. Slam were among the first acts to stage club nights at The Arches in Glasgow—their involvement with the venue stretches back as far as 1992. It was in 1998, though, that the first Pressure event was staged, and it's ran on the last Friday of every month, featuring some of house and techno's biggest acts, ever since. To mark the birthday of one of the city's longest serving parties, Slam's Stuart McMillan and Orde Meikle have invited a range of names to provide the soundtrack in the two-roomed venue. French techno/electro act Vitalic, AKA Pascal Arbez, takes the spot at the top of the flyer (he'll play live, as is his usual MO) and he'll be joined by CLR boss and European techno favourite Chris Liebing. More house inclined tastes with be catered to by Berlin-based DJs Radio Slave and Sebo K, while venerable UK techno act The Black Dog will play live and the equally well respected Surgeon will DJ. Support will come from Subcity's Animal Farm. Tickets to Pressure's 13th birthday are available here on RA.
