  • Rene Pawlowitz, AKA EQD, AKA Shed, is due to release a compilation containing all the material on his Equalized label to date. Pawlowitz first adopted the moniker back in 2007 and has since put out a total of five 12-inches under the name on the Equalized imprint. Although it wasn't initially clear who was behind the music (the label has always maintained a simple, white label aesthetic), it came as no surprise when Pawlowitz was later revealed to be EQD, given the quality of the material. Tracks have ranged from the bubbling 3/4 rhythms of "#001 B" through to the post-rave breakbeat business of "#002 B" and the skulking techno of "#004 A." There is little information on Equalized #111 (as it looks to be called from the artwork) aside from the fact that it contains everything released on the label thus far and will be dropping some time in December 2011.
