Next weekend's party at Public Assembly will help raise money and awareness for the ongoing relief efforts in Japan.
Tokyo promoter Parties 4 Peace, with help from Red Dot Relief, are throwing the event to commemorate the anniversary of the tsunami and nuclear disaster that struck Japan last March. All proceeds will be donated to Peace Boat, a nonprofit organization that is helping coordinate local relief efforts in the city of Ishinomaki, which was especially hard-hit by the tsunami. Along with Haze, Tokyo's DJ Kusda will also guest at Public Assembly, with two local selectors, CSM Recordings boss John Selway and Eric Cloutier from the Bunker, rounding out the music program for the evening.
Tickets for the Red Dot Relief NYC event are available here on RA.
