- Due out in June, the compilation packs in 24 of Denis Karimani's finest techno bangers.
Denis Karimani, better known as Remute, will release a collection of his own work in June called Classics.
Karimani has always been one of techno's more eccentric producers—just think of his recent cowbell-themed album, his "never-ending" remute24 project, or his iPhone app that allowed audience members to tweak his live set as it happened (the "Remute Control"). He's also always been especially productive, with several dozen EPs, a handful of albums and a self-titled label to show for the past decade.
Classics pulls together highlights from every era of his career, going all the way back to his first record (Hypnoconsole) and trawling through later releases on Traum, Tresor, Mote-Evolver and Dial among others. Many of these have only been available on vinyl until now, and a handful of tracks are previously unreleased. The two-disc and digital package will be available in June on Remute.
