- The Australian indie-electro duo will drop their third album this September on Modular.
Julian Hamilton and Kim Moyes, known together as The Presets, have released the details of their next album, Pacifica, due out this September.
The duo's third LP will be released on their home label, Modular Recordings, and will be their first full-length record since 2008's Apocalypso. After a stint of overseas touring, followed by some time off as both Hamilton and Moyes became fathers, the two returned to the studio to record an album that they have facetiously confirmed will "definitely not" be dubstep. Their first single, "Youth in Trouble", harks back to some of their earlier, darker work, with a minimal tech flavour accompanying their trademark vocals. The band will undertake its first live shows in over a year when they headline Parklife 2012 around Australia from September 29th.
