The LA techno DJ has gigs in Chicago and Detroit next weekend.
David Flores, AKA Audio Injection and Truncate, will visit the Midwest next weekend to play parties in Chicago and Detroit.
A native of Los Angeles and resident DJ at that city's popular Droid Behavior parties, Flores has become increasingly prolific over the past few years. As Audio Injection, his tracks and remixes have come out on Droid's label arm, Droid Recordings, along with heavy-hitting international imprints like Electric Deluxe and CLR, and since early 2011 he's been producing deeper strands of techno under the alias Truncate—the label of the same name already has half a dozen records in its catalog.
First up next weekend is a Friday night in Chicago, where Audio Injection is on the bill at a Transmissions party with DJ Hyperactive. Then he'll head to The Works in Detroit to link up again with Blank Code - a local crew who recently put an Audio Injection track to wax on their new label, and who threw a Movement Festival afterparty with Droid two months ago - for a party also featuring BMG and Keith Kemp.
