The fashion conscious Scandinavian headphone company have released their latest cans.
Urbanears have updated their range of headphones to include a new DJ-focussed model.
The Zinken range feels very much in keeping with the design of Urbanears range to date. The distinctive over-the-ear frame of their Plattan model headphones, with a multitude of available colours, has been applied to the Zinkens. Urbanears' TurnCable feature has also been installed on this new model: the detachable cable has a 6.3mm plug (for mixer use) and a 3.5mm (for mobile phones and MP3 players) on either end—the left ear cup then features a 6.3mm socket, the right a 3.5mm socket, the idea being that you'll never been caught without the correct connection. The Zinkers are said to be designed for extended use, while an increase of foam density on the cups from the Plattan model should provide better isolation of sound. "A custom-designed 40mm dual diaphragm driver" fuels the Zinkens' sound. Also featured is Zound Plug, an audio output which allows another person to attach a pair of headphones, which could have interesting applications for back-to-back sets.
Urbanears' Zinken are available now at a suggested retail price of 140 Euro.
