  • Alexandre Gouyette, AKA Brawther, will play shows in Sydney and Melbourne during his first Australian tour next month. The Parisian youngster has been releasing music under several aliases since 2009. His productions as Brawther, which evoke vintage deep house, were picked up by Chez Damier and released on his Balance Alliance imprint, where he has since racked up four 12-inches. Gouyette's work as Izmo ventures into a more ambient realm, while his solitary release as Paris Underground Trax has become a highly prized item amongst classic house enthusiasts. His Australian debut will begin in Melbourne on August 3rd. Old Friend will be hosting the party at The Mercat Basement, where Francis Inferno Orchestra, Sleep D, Luke Bruin and Toby Mackisack will be on support duties. The following evening up in Sydney, Picnic will be taking over One22 with Simon Caldwell, Kali and Dean Dixon vs Magda Bytnerowicz. Tickets to both the Melbourne and Sydney shows can be picked up here on RA.
