Bristol's In Motion announce 2012 season

- Just Jack will start proceedings on September 29th, with Jamie Jones, Dyed Soundorom and Todd Edwards lined up for performances on the night.
- Details of parties for the coming months at Bristol venue Motion Skate Park have been announced. The riverside venue has become something of a Bristol favourite in recent years, hosting up to 2000 capacity, multi-roomed parties with involvement from a bevy of local and international labels and promoters. The 2012 In Motion season is scheduled to get under way with long-serving Bristol house night Just Jack, who have RA's current #1 DJ, Jamie Jones, as their headlining guest in the main room, along with a back-to-back set from Circo Loco's Dyed Soundorom and Dan Ghenacia, and fellow French producer Seuil playing live. The 2nd warehouse will be on a house and garage tip—Todd Edwards, Midland and Dusky all appear—while Meadows in the Mountains take care of The Tunnel with the help of Death On The Balcony. Looking to the month of October, Hessle Audio and Idle Hands are in the house Friday 5th, with the former featuring Four Tet, Pearson Sound, Ben UFO, Pangaea and Legowelt in the main room, and the latter rolling with Alexander Nut, Chris Farrell and Kelly Twins. Saturday 6th will be the turn of Hospitality (High Contrast, Danny Byrd and Wookie are among the guests), while further dates for the month include Shit The Bed with Jack Beats and Toddla T on the 19th; Funk From The Trunk take care of things on the 20th; Tokyo Dub featuring Lee Scratch Perry and Mala takes place on Friday 26th; Just Jack's Halloween bash(lineup TBA) in on the 27th; and there'll be a special opening on the Sunday with seminal hip-hop outfit Public Enemy. Moving on to November, Bugged Out! host Friday 2nd (lineup TBA) and Gunpowder Plot take the Saturday (Dub Pistols play live among many others). Claude Von Stroke, Eats Everything, Justin Martin, Scuba, Joy Orbison and Paul Woolford line up on Friday 9th courtesy of Dirtybird, Trouble Vision and Sneaker Social Club. Canadian artist Grimes headlines a special opening on Tuesday 13th. RA will be your hosts on Saturday 17th: in addition to an unannounced headliner we've got Rustie DJing and Shackleton, Stay+ and Koreless playing live in the main room, Shed, DVS1, Blawan and a special guest pushing techno in the tunnel, and Space Dimension Controller (plus special guest) playing the tunnel thanks to KELLYDOME. Local institution Futureboogie step up on Friday 23rd. They've got Kerri Chandler, Moodymann and Waifs & Strays in the main room, Maxxi Soundsystem, Lukas & Christophe and a special guest in the tunnel, and Crackazat and other appearing in the cave. Annie Mac presents... arrives the next night, as the Radio 1 DJ is joined by Magnetic Man, Redlight and Disclosure. And Cocoon are the draw on the last announced date of the month—Friday 30th. The main room will feature Seth Troxler and special guest, while London's Mulletover host Craig Richards, Matt Tolfrey and Geddes in the 2nd warehouse.
