- The Melbourne bass and hip-hop artist will play live at One22 this month.
DJ, producer and live artist Dave Norris, AKA Dizz1, will headline Compound's next party in Sydney.
Originally from Sydney and currently based in Melbourne, Norris' background and experience in music is extensive. As a young DJ and turntablist he performed alongside legends like Grand Master Flash and Jazzy Jay, as a producer his music has been released on labels such as Rush Hour and Black Acre, and in 2010 his talents earned him a spot at the Red Bull Music Academy in Barcelona and a set at Sonar. Also billed as a co-headliner of the Compound party is Tuff Sherm, a techno project by Sydney youngster Eugene Hector, known more widely as experimental bass artist Dro Carey. The gig will also feature a number of local acts, including Templar Soundsystem and Compound residents Speakeasy, Bootyspoon, CB Fantasy and Clark Cohen.
