Crosstown Rebels have tapped Tiga for their 100th EP, The Picture, due for release on Monday.
The record is a milestone for both parties: in addition to being Crosstown's 100th EP, it's Tiga's first bit of new material in several years. As a touring DJ and head of Quebec's Turbo Recordings, who have put out more than a dozen EPs in 2012 alone, Tiga's hardly ever been more active, but on the production front he's been silent since his 2009 album Ciao!. "The Picture" shows him doing what he does best: pumping club music led by his own tongue-in-cheek vocals. Crosstown Rebels staple Subb-An rounds off the EP with a remix of Tiga's 2004 effort "Pleasure From the Bass." You can hear some of the A-side in the wacky official trailer below.
