Keep On will come out on Omar-S's label in September.
Detroit producer Luke Hess is ready to release his second album, Keep On.
Hess has been a consistent source of understated dub techno for the past five years or so, churning out a steady stream of productions that have landed on labels like Echocord and Kontra-Music. He also runs his own imprint, the spiritually-informed DeepLabs. Keep On will come out on Omar-S's FXHE Records, which has hosted a few of Hess's EPs in the past. It features an appearance from his older brother Jeff, who's reportedly been working with Luke on more experimental-leaning material under the name Select, (someone by the name of Papa Smurf makes a guest appearance too). The album will be available in September on CD and on vinyl a month later.
