The tireless French jock celebrates 25 years as a DJ with a pair of shows in Paris and Manchester.
The French DJ began his DJ career at Manchester's famed Haçienda in 1987, where he went by the name DJ Pedro. After returning to France in 1988, he promoted Wake Up, a party that became a staple of Paris' Rex Club. In the interim, he's hosted a radio show, produced classic records like "The Man with the Red Face" and "Acid Eiffel," formed the influential F Communications label and DJed the world over, remaining a vocal proponent of new music throughout. His anniversary celebration will thus straddle the two cities where he got his start. On Friday, October 26th, Garnier will play all night at the Rex Club. He'll then head to Manchester for a December 15th appearance at the Warehouse Project as part of Crosstown Rebels' Rebel Rave with Damian Lazarus, Maceo Plex, Art Department, Subb-an and more.
Advanced tickets for the Rex Club gig have sold out, but tickets to his Warehouse Project appearance are still available here on RA.
