A new Bristol club night will begin in December, also featuring Phaeleh.
Carrying the slogan "The Height of Electronic Music," Apex is a newcomer to the Bristol party scene. Founded by a crew of local DJs, their previous endeavours have included hosting the Cave at In:Motion events in Bristol with DJs like Wedge, Commodo and Biome.
Their launch party will take place at Blue Mountain and feature Mancunian artist Synkro. A producer and DJ known for his reflective and highly atmospheric takes on drum & bass, dubstep and techno, he provided one of the year's more heart-wrenching RA podcasts this past February. He'll be backed up by Bristol native Phaeleh, another producer who makes airy and melodic dubstep. Other talent in the first room includes Mindstep's My Nu Leng, L2S signee Lojik, Bristolian DJ Gage and Apex's own Lone Ranger.
The smaller second room features locals Jaydrop, Scruffy and Daffy, as well as the Apex residents Avra, Temporal, Synthesis and Brittune.
