Dixon, Kerri Chandler and many more are also confirmed for the Essex festival next May.
The new event will engulf a former World War I airfield (a total of 122 acres), with a total capacity of 15,000 people and some 70 DJs spread across 10 different stages. Beginning in at 11:00 AM and running until at 2:30 AM the next morning, it will be decked out with custom structures designed to give each stage its own unique feel. Examples include a "secret crop circle rave" and a "tiki paradise," all equipped with Funktion One sound systems and LED walls.
The festival's programming is heavy on house and techno, with each stage curated by a different label or promoter. Cocoon Heroes will feature Ricardo Villalobos and Sven Väth, while Toronto-based house vet DJ Sneak and Supplement Facts boss Guy Gerber will head up the Kehakuma stage. Crosstown Rebels has the biggest presence so far, with Damian Lazarus, Art Department, Innervisions boss Dixon and a live set from Wagon Repair man Mathew Jonson, among others. New Jersey deep house icon Kerri Chandler will play the otherwise UK-centric Mulletover stage, also featuring Joy Orbison and Huxley. Other highlights include '90s house legend Marc Kinchen, fast-rising UK duo Dusky and PBR Streetgang, with more stages and acts to be announced in the near future.
