The artist also known as DJ Stingray will head up the free Christmas-night event in support of this year's Salvation Army Coat Drive.
Urban Tribe, AKA DJ Stingray, will headline PhilanthroFest III at the Russell Industrial Center's Beatniks Gallery on Christmas night in Detroit.
Hosted once again by the Detroit Paranormal Society, the 11-hour, multi-room event will support the local Salvation Army Coat Drive, which provides coats and winter clothes to people in need. Donations are suggested, but optional, and admission will be free all night and open to anyone 18 or older. Techno and electro should make up much of the night's soundtrack: along with Urban Tribe, a grip of scene stalwarts including BMG and Erika of Ectomorph, Mike Agent X Clark and Kevin Reynolds (playing live) will all be on hand.
