  • Kate Simko will play a handful of gigs in the US and Mexico over the next two weeks. Originally from Chicago, Simko has become well known over the past half-decade thanks to the sleek, classically-tinged tech house she's produced for labels like Ghostly International, Spectral Sound and Hello? Repeat. Earlier this year she moved to London and put out tracks on Leftroom, including a collaborative record with label boss Matt Tolfrey. Next up for Simko is a return to North America for a short tour, starting this Thursday with a set at Metamorphosis 2012 in Palenque, Mexico. Then she'll play U Street Music Hall in Washington DC with Dirtybird co-founder Worthy, followed by a night at Treehouse in Miami also featuring Danny Daze from Hot Creations. Last but not least, Simko will head back to the Windy City to play Smart Bar, where she's billed with Visionquest duo Benoit & Sergio. Tickets to the parties in DC and Miami are available here on RA.
