Beats in Space Records will release the latest album from Eddie Ruscha's long-running production alias this April.
Tactile Galactics, the latest full-length from Secret Circuit, is due out on Tim Sweeney's Beats in Space Records this April.
Secret Circuit is Eddie Ruscha, a Los Angeles-based producer whose career has taken its fair share of twists and turns over the years. He got his start as a member of '90s shoegaze group Medicine, and he's collaborated with members of Rub N Tug, Cibo Matto and Ariel Pink's Haunted Graffiti all while working synths as Secret Circuit. Ruscha has been notably prolific over the last few years, with a number of self-released albums to his name and singles for Prins Thomas's Internasjonal label as well as BIS. Like much of Secret Circuit's recent output, Tactile Galactics will explore a distinctly psychedelic side of contemporary disco and house. You can get a taste for the album's sound with its first single, "Afterlife," which debuted on last week's episode of Beats in Space. Check out a video of its first rotation below:
