The Night Slugs co-owners will play five shows this month.
L-Vis 1990 and Bok Bok are heading to Australia this February to play shows in five cities.
Born out of a party series of the same name, the two Brits established the Night Slugs label in 2010, a year in which they dominated the UK club scene with their eclectic approach to bass and house music through artists like Girl Unit, Egyptrixx and Mosca. With dozens of releases in the bag, the label's prolific output was recently highlighted by their second compilation, All Stars Vol. 2, which RA's Andrew Ryce described as sounding like "the start of a new chapter," expanding the musical scope of the London collective. Now on the back of the compilation's release, the two founders will be heading down south, with Bok Bok making his Australian debut.
The tour begins at The Bakery in Perth on February 15th, before the pair hit Brisbane on the 16th for a show at Coniston Lane which will also feature RL Grime and Percy Miracles. They make their way down to Canberra on the 21st to play at Trinity Bar, followed by a Sydney show with tour organisers Astral People at Goodgod Small Club, with local DJs Cliques, Moriarty and Preacha on support duties. The final gig is at Revolver Upstairs in Melbourne on February 23rd, with Sydneysider Dro Carey also the bill. Tickets to the Canberra and Sydney shows can be purchased here on RA.
