  • Leipzig house and techno experimentalist Mix Mup will make his Chicago debut on Saturday, March 30th. Mix Mup's career in music stretches back over a decade, and he's recently been busy collaborating with fellow German artist Kassem Mosse. For this rare, one-off US appearance at the Windy City club Primary, he'll headline with a DJ set. The Anything is Possible party will also feature a collection of local talent: Kimochi Sound boss m50 (AKA Area) and label mate Lubin will each take a turn on the decks, while Protman will play live. Lokua, an audio-visual artist who recently released his Steroids LP on the local Don't Trust Humans imprint, will be on hand to work the controls of the club's expansive LED backdrop. For an idea of what to expect, check out Mix Mup's recent podcast and interview for Made Like A Tree, in which he reveals plans for an EP on Joy Orbison and Will Bankhead's Hinge Finger.
