  • Rahaan will play three Australian shows later this month. The Chicago disco jock has been on the circuit since the '80s, and credits his nights spent at the legendary Muzic Box watching Ron Hardy spin as a key influence. Over his career, Rahaan has built up a reputation in the underground disco and house scene as an adventurous crate-digger and editor, releasing records on labels like Stilove4music and KAT. Last year the American released several 12-inches, including collaborative efforts with Los Charly's Orchestra and Sean Sounds. Now making his way back down south, Rahaan's tour will begin at Adelaide's Sugar on March 22nd, where he will be supported by locals Japeye and Nan & Betty. The following night he hits Melbourne for a show at The Croft Institute, with Richard Kelly, Andras Fox and Roman Wafers also joining the bill. Finally, his show on the 24th will be a collective effort between Soul of Sydney and Our House Sydney at a venue yet to be disclosed, with regulars Gian Arpino, Shan Frenzie and Phil Toke all featuring on the lineup. Tickets to the Sydney show can be purchased here on RA.
