  • Emotional Response and Relish Recordings have teamed up to start a new label, Emotional Relish. The two labels say the joint venture will have a limited shelf life, with its first three EPs arriving in the coming weeks. Emotional Response is a London-based concern run by Stuart Leath, who's also behind the reissue-focused Emotional Rescue. Relish was founded by Robi Insinna, AKA Headman, back in 1999, and over the past 14 years has released disco and electro house from the likes of Daniel Avery, JR Seaton (now known as Call Super) and the label boss himself. First up on the new label is Noise, an EP from Headman in collaboration with Scott Fraser and Nitzer Ebb man Douglas McCarthy, with remixes from Hardway Bros and Cómeme regular Daniel Maloso. Fraser is at the helm for the second EP, Light Sleeper, which comes backed by remixes from Timothy J. Fairplay and Headman. After that is a Headman remix 12-inch called In Albion. The title is a nod to the all-English remix cast, which includes Andy Blake, Death in Vegas, Richard D. Clouston and Daniel Avery. Tracklist Headman feat.
