- The German producer will release a new cassette album next week.
Gunnar Wendel, AKA Kassem Mosse, has unveiled a new cassette album called The Siege Of Troy, due out on May 13th.
Wendel has been especially busy of late, collaborating on an mini-LP with Mix Mup last year as well as releasing a handful of 12-inches across different labels, and arranging and mixing Stellar OM Source's forthcoming album for RVNG. He also founded the Ominira imprint, which will put out the The Siege Of Troy cassette—its first release since 2011. There isn't much info about the album other than that it was recorded straight to tape, and is described by London record store Sounds Of The Universe as "militant washed-out electronics." It's also been produced under The Siege Of Troy moniker, suggesting that it's not a Kassem Mosse project. There will also be a separate four-track 7-inch, which features new edits of three of the Siege songs along with a brand new cut, "A Cluster Of Three Drops."
