- Forget Me Not will contribute the Bristol open-air's first EP.
Alfresco Disco will launch a label arm this June.
Kicking off in Bristol in 2005, Alfresco Disco combines two party concepts—the TBA and the open-air—into one, with events in curious outdoor spaces that aren't announced until the day of the party. A big part of the concept has been keeping things unexpected, and the promoters hope to keep some of that spirit alive on the label; as they put it, "Each one will be unique and have its own personality, attention to detail and a little of the unexpected."
Their first release comes from upstart Bristol production team Forget Me Not, with two originals (three on the digital release) and a remix from Futureboogie signee and Alfresco Disco co-founder Luke Turner, AKA Lukas. The vinyl release will come in an edition of 300, with screenprinted artwork from collective member Daniel Hayman.
