The festival's latest offshoot will start tomorrow at Supermarket in Zürich.
The newest arm of Movement Torino, which is itself the child of Movement's original Detroit festival, will reportedly happen three times a year—two nights set for Zürich, and a third either in Lausanne or Geneva. The series has a self-proclaimed mission to mirror the Detroit focus of its parent festival, and the first edition will do so with Transmat founder Derrick May. Classical composer and musician Francesco Tristano will perform live, NYC's The Martinez Brothers are slated for a DJ set and Bohnenblust will take the opening slot.
Derrick May will also be DJing live earlier in the evening on Rundfunk.fm, which you can stream starting at 7 PM CET.
