  • Fred P will hit British Columbia on August 30th and 31st. The New York producer has been steadily increasing in popularity since he debuted back in 2006 under the Black Jazz Consortium, and he's been releasing music under that pseudonym and his own name ever since. Known for his subtle and atmospheric take on house, Peterkin has released on labels like Underground Quality and Mule Electronic, though most of his music has come on his own Soul People Music. His most recent endeavours came in the form of this year's Codes & Metaphors collection, as well as a new EP on The Corner. Peterkin's first trip to BC will see him land in Victoria and Vancouver for a weekend. Sub|division will host his island gig, taking place on August 30th at Lucky Bar with locals Koosh and Transient on support. The next night, Subversive will bring him to Open Studios in Vancouver, where he'll co-headline with L.I.E.S. affiliate Steve Summers and Caleb Fox will take the opening slot.
