  • Several more nightclubs have signed up to host Promote Diversity parties. As revealed by RA on August 9th, Berghain/Panorama Bar is spearheading the Promote Diversity campaign, which will see high-profile club across four continents hold events in September. The campaign was sparked by the anti-homosexual propaganda law that was passed by Russian parliament back in June, but the aim of the parties is to raise awareness of LGBT rights globally. The first three clubs to sign up—Berghain/Panorama Bar in Berlin, Munich's Harry Klein and Output in New York—have now been joined by four more: Paris's Rex Club, San Francisco's Holy Cow, Zurich's Heaven Club and The Block in Tel Aviv. Further events in Manchester, São Paulo and London are expected to be announced soon. The lineup for the party at Berghain/Panorama Bar, taking place on September 12th, has also been announced. Most of the venue's residents—including Ben Klock, Marcel Dettmann, Tama Sumo and Steffi—have been confirmed, and they'll be joined by a lengthy cast of guests that includes Seth Troxler, Portable, Radio Slave, Ellen Allien and Finn Johannsen. Full admission charge for the night will be donated to All Out, an organisation that supports LGBT rights.
