- RVNG Intl will release the Australian duo's first album in October.
Gardland will release their debut album, Syndrome Syndrome, on October 28th.
Australian duo Alex Murray and Mark Smith first met and bonded over a "psychedelic desert excursion," which they documented musically last year via their own Hunter Gatherers label. Their first full-length comes through NYC outfit RVNG Intl. The majority of the group's synths were stolen halfway through the recording of Syndrome Syndrome, which forced them to reboot their sound and start over. According to the press release, the record offers up off-kilter variations on house and techno, with beats that drop in and out along with distorted and lo-fi accents.
