- The Dutch producer is launching his own series of EPs on Rush Hour later this month.
San Proper will release the first EP on his new label in late October.
The Dutchman got his start on Rush Hour back in 2007, and over a steady stream of releases he's established his own quirky, sometimes vocal-heavy take on deep house that's also featured on outfits like Perlon, Dekmantel, M>O>S and others. He's got a reputation for flamboyant live performances as well, and his idiosyncratic 2012 debut album Animal showed off the full range of his sound.
Proper's Cult will operate as a Rush Hour subsidiary. If the first release, The Culture, is any indication, it'll look to continue the minimal-leaning house sound he's explored on past singles and EPs.
Tracklist
A1 Wicked Bushes
A2 Thirty Bucks
B1 Sirene
B2 Hitch House
Proper's Cult will release The Culture EP in late October 2013.
