- The UK group will release their next album in November.
Blu Mar Ten will release Famous Lost Words on November 18th.
The group have been in the drum & bass game for a long time, starting in 1995 as a duo and then expanding to a three-piece in 2004. Famous Lost Words is the UK trio's fifth album and first since 2011's Love is The Devil, which we said proved "that a dance outfit who've been around for almost twenty years can still make music that stands up to the fiercest wave of newcomers" in our review of the record.
At 13 tracks and 71 minutes, Famous Lost Words is a bit shorter than usual for the band, but a healthy helping nonetheless. The press release describes it as "pure and unapologetic drum & bass," and it will come out on their own Blu Mar Ten Music label. There are a few vocal tracks, with Robert Manos and Agné Genyté appearing on four songs, plus a collaboration with Blu Mar Ten signee Seba.
