SMD's culinary-themed label returns with two tracks named after exotic dishes.
The record is Simian Mobile Disco's second Delicacies collaboration of 2013—they also hooked up with Bicep for the Sacrifice 12-inch. This time around they invited 50 Weapons regular Cosmin TRG into their studio to craft a two-track EP. In keeping with the label's culinary theme, both tracks are named after strange recipes: "Surströmming" is a Swedish plate that a press release suggests is "the most putrid smelling food substance in the world," while "Sannakji" is a Korean dish that sees octopus tentacles served while they're still squirming. Simian Mobile Disco have also invited Cosmin down as a guest at their next Delicatessen club night at London's XOYO on Saturday, December 7th.
