- Acid Test will release the first album from Iron Curtis and Edit Piafra in January.
Achterbahn D'Amour will release their first album on January 21st.
The collaborative project between Iron Curtis and Edit Piafra first emerged on the second release for Oliver Bristow's 303-obsessed Acid Test label, which came out in 2011. Since then they've delivered two more plates for the California imprint, as well as a Frank Music 12-inch. Odd Movements, which sees them returning to Acid Test, is their first missive of 2014. With a press release calling it "a wintry retreat from the club," like most of the music on the label Odd Movements it offers up unconventional and occasionally subdued takes on classic acid house tropes.
