  • Berlin venue KaterHolzig officially closed its doors on January 5th, Pulse report. The Kreuzberg nightspot was run by Chrisoph Klenzendorf, part of the collective behind the infamous Bar 25, which closed back in 2010. Though KaterHolzig was always a temporary venue—it was actually planned to close in August 2013—the club remained open for an extra five months. Klenzendorf and co will now turn their attention to Holzmarkt, their new venue located on the former site of Bar 25 (which they bought at auction in 2012). Initial plans for Holzmarkt include a public park, a hotel, artist studios, a restaurant, a 24-hour daycare centre, and, of course, a nightclub, though an exact opening date has not yet been revealed.
