- Jeroen Liebregts will issue the album through his new Radial Records imprint.
Dutch techno producer Radial's next album, Crux, is due out in late February.
Radial has been a solo project of Jeroen Liebregts since 2009—previously he collaborated with Laurens van der Starre under that name. He'd been a bit quiet on the production front in recent years, up until 2013, when he released two EPs: one that started fellow Dutch artist Bas Mooy's new label Mord, and another put out on Audio Assault, the label co-run by Mooy and Liebregts.
Crux, the second album from the Radial alias, will be the first transmission from Liebregts' new Radial Records imprint. It was conceived in his redesigned studio that nowadays is made up "mainly of analog hardware, a lot of which developed by himself and built with his own hands," according to a press release that also says the album "covers some of the darkest but also the lightest corners of the artist's musical interests." Eight tracks will be cut on a double-vinyl version, with three extra tracks fitted into the CD and digital releases.
