Taking place in Florianópolis, the first edition of the nine-day festival will cover house, techno, reggae and more.
Music Wave Week 2014 will run from Friday, February 7th, through Sunday the 16th.
The new festival will take place at various venues across the southern Brazilian city of Florianópolis. Warung Beach Club and Kioske Do Pirata will host the main house and techno parties, with Terraza and Malam also chipping in. Anja Schneider and Adriatique head to Warung on Saturday the 8th, with Renato Ratier, Soul Clap and M.A.N.D.Y. spinning a week later.
Kioske welcomes Matthias Vogt and Iron Curtis on Valentine's night, with Detroit electro pioneers Aux 88 performing at the club the following eve. Other highlights include Phil Weeks at Malam on Wednesday and Anthony Collins at Terraza on Friday the 14th. The nine-day extravaganza will also feature a wealth of R&B, reggae and bossa nova acts, with Ne-Yo, Omar, Jorge Ben Jor and Jamaica's Luciano the main attractions.
