- After releasing a decade's worth of singles and EPs, the M>O>S Recordings founder will issue his first full-length in May.
M>O>S Recordings chief Aroy Dee will release his debut album on May 17th.
Sketches has been two years in the making. "For me, my musical output and development feels like an on going history of my life," the producer says. "It's a very personal document, not intended to make anybody happy but myself, which is why it has taken so long. It's like a diary or ghost-script written about a part of my life and my fascinations, honoring my biggest musical inspirations."
A press release promises the kind of sounds that have made Aroy Dee an underground favourite: deep analogue house and electro that fuses together jacking and mellow elements.
As well as producing and running M>O>S, Dee holds down a day job as an architect (M>O>S stands for "Muziek Over Steden," Dutch for "music about cities"). He's released a dozen or so singles as Aroy Dee, alongside material as R-A-G with Marco Antonio Spaventi and Gijs Poortman. He was also behind the popular ##### 12-inch for Rush Hour's No 'Label' series.
