The festival will return to New York's Randall's Island this August.
After expanding to Mexico City this spring, it was unclear whether the festival would be able to return to Randall's Island, after last year's deaths forced organizers to halt its third day amid heavy attention from the media and former mayor Michael Bloomberg. It looks like business as usual in 2014, with the three-day event unfolding over Labour Day weekend. For their part, promoters Made Event state that "fan safety" is their top priority, and promise "additional safety measures" this year.
As ever, the focus is on big EDM names—David Guetta, Zedd, Kaskade and Alesso all feature, along with Jack U, Skrillex's collaboration with Diplo. The relatively underground-leaning Sunday School Grove will return, this time booking Dubfire, Chris Liebing, Sasha, Victor Calderone, Danny Tenaglia and Nicole Moudaber. Jamie xx and Gesaffelstein are among the other highlights so far.
