- The Portland label's fourth compilation will come out next month.
Dropping Gems will release their fourth instalment of Gem Drops on July 29th.
The Portland based-label has long been heavy on local talent, dropping releases from the likes of Natasha Kmeto, DJAO, Ghost Feet and others, but the next instalment of their Gem Drops series sees them expanding in a big way. The compilation stretches out over 21-tracks and continues their "trek through the endless forest that is electronic music," offering up new side projects from established Dropping Gems artists (Gouda Hoop, Shawn Don and others) as well as a handful of extended family acts such as The Range, Devonwho, Free The Robots, Anenon and Pixelord, as well as debuts from Swrvy, Marley Carroll, Big Sigh and Vandetta. You can stream opener "Shadow," from DJAO, below.
The collection will see release via digital and cassette formats.
