- The LA producer and saxophonist's more freeform second album will see release on his own Non Projects label in September.
Anenon has revealed details of his second LP, due out September 23rd.
LA's Brian Allen Simon carved out a niche for himself with a brand of contemplative electronic music prominently featuring his own tenor saxophone playing. That hasn't changed with Sagrada, but what has changed is Simon's approach. Reportedly inspired by (and featuring recordings of) his live improvisatory performances, the beats are more upfront and the saxophone "steps out from behind the tapestries of sound of [debut album] Inner Hue and takes centre stage," according to the press release. As with most of his work, Sagrada will land on Simon's own Non Projects label.
