- The 2002 LP will get a fresh release on CD and vinyl next month.
Berlin label Tresor is set to reissue Harnessed The Storm, the 2002 album from legendary Detroit duo Drexciya.
This year has already seen Tresor re-release Gerald Donald and the late James Stinson's debut full-length as Drexciya, Neptune's Lair, originally put out in 1999, as well as the 2001 LP The Opening Of The Cerebral Gate from Stinson's Transllusion project. Next up is Harnessed The Storm, conceived as the first of seven conceptually linked albums, called "storms," that the duo produced over the course of a single year—and the only one credited to Drexciya (different aliases were used for the others). It'll come out next month on ten-track CD and seven-track double-vinyl.
