The Vancouver duo will cross the country for two gigs next week.
Liam Butler and Jack J—the latter fresh off the release of an RA Recommended solo EP on their label earlier this year—are the de facto linchpins of the Mood Hut crew, and they've had a landmark year. Not only did they release two EPs (including one on People's Potential Unlimited), but they played dates in the US and around the UK and Europe, including an appearance at Dekmantel festival.
Now they'll make the long trip across Canada for two East Coast shows. First up is Montreal on the 28th, where they'll play Le Bleury-Bar's Vinyle Factory night alongside Francis Oak. The next evening they're set to headline Evening Standard in Toronto at Bambi's, backed up by residents MEMBERSONLY and local Jesse Futerman.
