Paul Woolford back-to-back with Midland is another highlight for the Montreal winter festival.
Igloofest is back for 2015, taking place over four weekends from January 16th through to February 8th.
The Montreal outdoor festival is known for pitting its attendees against the harsh Canadian winter. It unfolds over three-day weekends (with Sundays replacing Thursdays this year) in the Quai Jacques-Cartier at the city's Old Port, spread over two stages. This time, organisers promise a more spacious layout in addition to a new terrace for the main stage.
The lineup is a healthy cross-section between different spheres of dance music, from more big-room techno and house acts like Dubfire, John Digweed, Deetron, Loco Dice and Luciano to more underground names like Joey Anderson, Girl Unit and Robert Dietz. Midland is set to play back-to-back with Paul Woolford, while Justin Martin, J. Phlip and Kill Frenzy will rep Dirtybird. Flosstradamus will head up a bass-heavy day that also includes a set from The Gaslamp Killer. There's a good quotient of locals, too, with Project Pablo, Prison Garde, Blond:ish among the highlights (along with Canadian duo Graze).
