The Miami festival will return to Bayfront Park this March.
This year's edition of the festival was originally up in the air amid controversy surrounding a gatecrashing incident in 2014 that left a security guard in critical condition. The city's mayor took the unusual move of campaigning to ban Ultra from downtown Miami, but the committee ultimately voted in favour of keeping it at its usual home of Bayfront Park. Then, last fall, the festival announced it would address the safety concerns by limiting entry to those 18-and-over, as well as hiring a new security director.
Ultra have booked the usual slew of big EDM names for the headlining slots this year, including Steve Aoki, Afrojack, Skrillex and Hardwell. Among the other headliners are Dixon, Jamie Jones, Loco Dice and Tale Of Us, while Röyksopp, Gorgon City and Netsky make up some of the live act highlights. Other notable artists include Eats Everything, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, Cassy, Martin Buttrich, John Digweed and Tensnake. More names are due to announced soon.
