The Kreuzberg jazz festival's second edition will unfold in May.
The festival debuted last year with around 50 acts, and it'll return to Berlin with a similar mixture of jazz and electronic artists. XJAZZ takes place in various venues around Kreuzberg, mostly walking distance from each other, including Bi Nuu, Fluxbar, Privatclub and Prince Charles. The full schedule and itinerary are still under wraps.
Among some of the more dance-leaning highlights are , German trio Brandt Brauer Frick, Nightmares on Wax, Mo Kolours, Aybee and local head Max Graef.
This year, XJAZZ is also partnering with Israel to celebrate 50 years of German-Israeli diplomatic relations. As a result, the festival also features a healthy helping of artists from the Levant, and the press release hints at events featuring German musicians in Tel Aviv in October.
