- Luke Calzonetti's latest record, Serf Rash, will come out in March.
In Paradisum will release an album from Run Dust in March.
Run Dust is an alias of Luke Calzonetti, a musician of many names and, notably, a former member of grindcore band Child Abuse. The Hannover-based American has used this particular project as an outlet for experimental electronic music, releasing a handful of tapes and CD-Rs for labels like Tesla and Karl Schmidt Verlag, before he appeared on Opal Tapes with last year's Zeckenentferner. Now he's signed Serf Rash, an album that explores slightly more dance floor-friendly territory, to French label in Paradisum. The label already has a history of flirting with the dark and heavy—last year's Extreme Precautions LP was directly inspired by grindcore. You can watch a video for Serf Rash opener "Saddle Maker" below.
